We know you want to help, and we really appreciate it.

We believe in donating new or very gently used items because to us, that is what treating people with dignity means. We do not use discards or old items. If you would like to donate, check out our wish list below.

You can also donate through AmazonSmile!

You’ll find a list of affordable items we need.

Shoes

Throughout the cold winter months and even during hot summers, children are forced to walk barefoot. The roads are sand and dangerous with glass, dog feces, and other items that could potentially injure children (and adults). We are currently seeking 500 pairs of sneakers to distribute to the families that are most in need. If you have any connections, please pass them along.

Soccer balls

Soccer is the most popular sport in South America. When we meet with families, we notice that there are many children but no balls. Without a doubt, the kids would absolutely love having soccer balls to play with. Not only this, but it would also be a great way for them to stay healthy, happy and safe while making friends!

Hair ties, scrunchies, bows and brushes

No matter the culture, young girls love having long hair. We are always in need of hair brushes, combs, hair ties, scrunchies and bows. Not only for young girls but for women as well. In the areas we serve, where few have running water, it is easier to keep their hair clean if it is in a ponytail.

Masks

According to John Hopkins University, Mexico has one of the highest mortality rates in the world (9%) due to COVID-19. To help keep people safe, we distribute masks each time we deliver healthy groceries. We have distributed thousands of masks and thousands more are needed.

If you are able to make masks- the children and women love the cloth masks. But, disposables are great as well!

books and miscellaneous items

The children in our communities absolutely love receiving books as gifts. Since many are out of school, books are a great way to ensure they are still learning and empowering themselves. Reading empowers children to discover their interests and develop the skills they need to pursue them. Books change lives!
